I am asked if I knew how to dance,
I am asked If i ever glow by any chance.
I am asked if i'v seen How I met your mother or Friends,
I am told I dont follow the latest trends,
I am asked if I will ever break my shell,
I am asked if the toad will ever jump over the well.
I only wait, and wait, until I find that right person.
Then shall I learn to dance,
Sometimes on samba, sometimes on trance.
I will wait to watch all sitcoms with her,
Some funny and scary, with popcorn for company, we’l sit very near.
I shall see my thoughts flow,
Pen would capture them all, all steady and slow.
I shall walk very carefully, and traverse all the paths,
For then it will be 1+1 equals 1, for love doesnt worry about maths.
Yes, I don’t know you, yet I know it all,
For we will meet and in love shall we fall.
Until that day, I make myself able enough to love and be loved,
I pray for patience, affection and love upon me to be bestowed
